The cover of issue 2 is a tribute to three LA icons who all died in 2019-2020: Rapper Nipsey Hussle (checker pattern on lower left),  conceptual artist John Baldessari (stickers over the Hollywood sign), and Laker legend Kobe Bryant (purple and gold stickers. The "Welcome to...theLand" double spread layout color photo was shot by Sergio Amalfitano, and the black & white photo was shot by Myles Andrews-Duve.
